Art Requirements

No Artwork?...No Problem!

1) Simple Logo w/ Text – Basic logos with little or no text.

We can convert files from any file format (jpeg, tiff, bmp, gif, etc.), faxes, hand drawn sketches, etc. into EPS vector art. Prices quoted are per logo per design. See examples to the right.

2) Complex Logo - Art Illustration: - Complex designs with high level of detail.

These images are very difficult and time consuming to recreate.

Guidelines - Help us SAVE YOU TIME & MONEY by following these Guidelines:

Acceptable File Formats (PC or MAC):

» Adobe Illustrator (.ai) 10.0 or lower
» Adobe Photoshop (.eps) 6.0 or lower
» Please do not use a PDF, JPG, or other unworkable format and try to "save as" an .eps. Use original, native vector art except for 4 color process and photographic images.
» PLEASE DO NOT embed images when laying out a design. Instead, LINK THEM - this allows us to convert or correct them later if necessary.

Type

» Convert paths to outlines (vector artwork)
» Include both screen and printer fonts (MAC) or font file (PC)

Color Matching:

» Specify target colors as PMS

Graphics/ Layout (especially for custom designed promo products, banners, silkscreened tee shirts only):

» All placed graphics should be included in final file
» Keep live area away from finishing seam lines or grommet placements
» Submit a file with a proportional color layout of the image

Resolution (typical):

» 300 dpi when placed at 100%

Resolution (Bit Map Images for banners)

» Dye Sublimation: 72-100 pixels per inch @ final size (exact PMS match not possible - will match as closely as possible)
» Screenprint: 35-50 pixels per inch @ final size
» Inkjet: 100-300 pixels per inch @ final size (exact PMS match not possible - will match as closely as possible)
» Super Wide Inkjet 30 pixels per inch @ final size (exact PMS match not possible - will match as closely as possible)
» Lightjet: 150-200 pixels per inch @ final size
